研究概要

神経伝達物質の一つアセチルコリンの合成酵素にはcChATとpChATの2種があり、pChATは実験動物では末梢コリン神経系の他、神経堤由来の神経細胞(第一次感覚神経・交感神経節後神経・腸管壁内神経)に分布することを証明してきた。本研究は、ヒトにもpChATが存在するかを検証することを目的とし、タンパク精製と抗体作成を行った結果、ヒトpChAT含有神経細胞を初めて形態学的に立証することに成功した。
