研究概要（最新報告）

本研究によって得られた研究成果は次のようにまとめられる。

1.キリスト教自然神学の形成と展開を、4世紀のキリスト教神学形成期から、中世を経て、宗教改革期までたどることによって、本来キリスト教自然神学において問われていたのは、キリスト教と諸思想・諸科学との討論の場の設定、っまりコミュニケーション合理性の確立に関わっていたことが示された。

2.「宗教と科学の対立図式」の代表的事例としてしばしば挙げられる「ガリレオ裁判」が何であったのかについて、最近の研究状況を論じた。

3.キリスト教自然神学は過ぎ去った過去の問題ではなく、むしろ近代以降の思想状況におけるキリスト教思想の意義を問う際のポイントなるものであり、まさにこの点に、キリスト教自然神学の再構築の可能性が見いだされることが明らかにされた。

4.キリスト教自然神学の再構築の議論を現代の生命論・環境論との連関において、具体的な検討が行われた。キリスト教神学を現代の生命論や環境論との関わりにおいて再構築するという課題を遂行するに当たって、その理論的前提として位置づけられたのは、形而上学の問題であり、本研究では、パネンベルクの意味論とホワイトヘッドとその影響下にあるプロセス神学が検討された。

5.「自然神学の再構築と形而上学」という問題設定の妥当性について、とくに進化論の問題との関わりで検討がなされた。

The results of this research can be summarized as follows.

1. I investigated the forming and developing of Christian natural theology, which reaches from the formative period of Christian theology in the 4th century via the Middle Ages to the Reformation, in detail. As a result, it was made clear that in the natural theology we must argue the setting of the place for the discussion between Christian theology and other thoughts or sciences. It is the establishment of the communicative rationality that we find as the real problem of natural theology.

2. By referring the recent studies of Galileo, I reviewed about the Galileo Trial which sometimes was taken as the historical example of the conflict between science and religion. But this problem needs to be examined more carefully in the relation to the long and bitter debate over the interpretation of the Bible.

3. The Christian natural theology is not a problem in the passing past but the point when asking the meaning of Christian thought in the modern situation. Here is the necessity of reconstructing the natural theology today.

4. Considering the reconstruction of the natural theology in the relation to contemporary theories of Life and Environment, it was found that metaphysics was the theoretical presupposition for this problem. I examined Pannenberg's theory of meaning and the process theology which was under the influence of Whiteheadian Metaphysics.

5. I argued about the validity of the scheme "Metaphysics and the reconstructing of natural theology" by taking up the problem of the evolutionary theory.
