研究概要（最新報告）

1.研究の目的

現在の日本の高等教育機関には技術者倫理教育が急速に導入されつつあるが、ここには二つの課題がある。一つは、周本の現状に適合した技術者倫理教育のコンテンツを開発することであり、もう一つは、技術者倫理教育を企業へ、あるいは技術者団体へと拡大することである。本研究の目的は、この二つの課題に即して、技術者倫理教育のコンテンツを開発することと、大学と企業あるいは地域との連携システムに関する調査研究を行うことである。

2.研究の成果:

(1)第一の課題に関しては、研究代表者と研究分担者が研究会等を通じて密接に連絡を取り合いながらも、それぞれの授業実践を通じて、工業高等専門学校、大学の教養教育および大学院教育という三つのレベルにおける授業資料を作成した。これらは『研究成果報告書』にとりまとめられているが、特に、大学院における技術者倫理教育は未開拓の領域であり、この報告書をきっかけに多くの理系大学院において授業資料を開発することが期待される。またわれわれは、技術者倫理教育の成績評価法にっいて共同研究を行い、科学技術社会論学会においてワークショップを開催し、その成果を公表した。さらに、他の研究者をも交えて授業資料の共同開発も行い、この成果は北海道技術者倫理研究会編『オムニバス技術者倫理』(共立出版)として2007年3月に出版された。

(2)第二の課題に関しては、技術者団体として先進的な技術者倫理研究に取り組んでいる中部技術士会、地元札幌の青年技術士会、同じく先進的な技術者倫理教育を実践している企業に対してヒアリングを行い、大学と企業との連携に関する問題点の整理を行った。実際に連携システムを構築することは次のステップの課題となる。

1. Purpose

There are two issues in the Engineering Ethics Education in Japan : to develop the contents of the engineering ethics in line with Japanese society and to expand the engineering ethics education into companies and societies of engineers. It is also the purpose of this research to meet these issues.

2. Result

(1) The materials that we investigators have developed in each class are divided into three levels, that is, for the college of technology, the general education in undergraduate school and graduate school course. These materials can be found in our "Research Results Report" concretely. Especially, as the applied ethics education for graduate school students is now frontier, we hope that this report makes this sort of education active in many scientific graduate schools. Our collaboration has extended to the method of evaluation in engineering ethics. In Nov. 2006 we have held a workshop on this matter in Japan Society for Science, Technology and Society. Moreover our book "Omnibus Engineering Ethics" that two members of our investigators edited has been published in March 2007.

(2) Concerning second issue, we have made the visiting investigation into the CHUBU branch of the institution of professional engineers Japan, SAPPORP society of youth professional engineers and the big technological companies, whose practices are very advanced. It will be our next step to build the cooperation system in concrete.
