研究概要

3次元球面内の双曲型結び目に対して,非双曲的な3次元多様体を生成するデーン手術を例外的デーン手術とよぶ.例外的デーン手術は本質的に3種類あるが,そのうち,レンズ空間を生じるレンズ手術,本質的トーラスを生じるトロイダル手術の2種の手術に焦点を絞って研究を行い,3つの連続する整数トロイダル手術を許容する双曲型結び目の無限列の構成,レンズ手術の前後にトロイダル手術を許容する双曲型結び目の無限列の構成など,いくつかの成果を得た.
