Research Abstract

本研究の目的は、新学術領域研究（研究領域提案型）「素核宇宙融合による計算科学に基づいた重層的物質構造の解明」の５年間の活動を客観的に総括し、その研究成果をまとめ、素核宇宙融合という新しい研究領域の基盤を確固たるものとし、さらなる発展を目指すことである。
領域代表である研究代表者と計画研究班各代表者である連携研究者が中心となって研究活動や成果の取りまとめを行なった。まず、２０１３年度の春に、本領域関係研究者から情報を収集し、各計画研究班、総括班の活動のまとめとして事後評価報告書を作成した。事後評価の結果は「A」であった。２０１３年の冬に、本領域関係研究者を中心としたまとめの研究会を行い、本領域の成果のまとめと今後の活動に関する意見交換などを行った。そこで出た参加者からの意見・提案を取入れて最終報告書を作成した。この研究会では、本領域関係研究者が具体的な研究活動内容の発表も行った。
サマースクールに関しては、その活動のノウハウを取りまとめると同時に、それを基に、２０１３年度以降の具体的な活動計画を立案した。その計画に基づき、２０１３年度もサマースクールを行った。
研究代表者が中心となって、「素核宇宙融合レクチャーシリーズ」の教科書を作成した。２０１３年度の最後の段階で、大部分の著者の最終原稿が完成した。そのpdf版を本領域のホームページで順次、公開している。このレクチャーシリーズは他の財源を用いて現在も継続中である。
研究成果の社会・国民への発信方法として、すでにある本領域のホームページを存続させ、活用している。レクチャーノートは専用のホームページを作成し、そこにリンクを張っている。
