本領域では、身体の情報が時空間を超えて流通する次世代情報通信環境における人々の社会経済的意思決定を、延約1万人規模の大規模生態学的ライフログ研究、脳科学実験、扱うべき身体性情報の検討作業を中心に、行動経済学、心理学、脳科学、情報学を有機的に融合したアプローチによって検討するデジタル身体性経済学を学術変革領域としてあらたに提唱する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This group aimed to foster the creation of a new interdisciplinary research field integrating the humanities, social sciences, life sciences, and informatics, taking "Digital Embodied Economics" as its starting point. To this end, it actively disseminated information through the launch of a dedicated website, podcast distribution, publications, and the organization of public symposia and international workshops. In addition, the group promoted exchange among early-career researchers and carried out outreach activities targeting the general public, contributing to the broader social impact of the research outcomes.

本領域の学術的意義は、身体性情報が時空間を超えて流通するという新たな社会的現象に着目し、人文社会科学・生命科学・情報学を有機的に統合することで、これまでに存在しなかった「デジタル身体性経済学」という学術領域を創出しようとする点にある。行動実験や脳科学的手法を用いて、個人および社会における意思決定メカニズムの変容を明らかにし、次世代情報通信環境に適応した新たな社会モデルの構築に資することを目指す、先駆的かつ学際的な研究である。
