Outline of Annual Research Achievements

平成22年度‐26年度 文部科学省科学研究費補助金新学術領域研究「メゾスコピック神経回路から探る脳の情報処理基盤」(略称:メゾ神経回路)では、比較的少数のニューロン集団からなり追跡可能な規模をもつ「メゾスコピック神経回路(メゾ神経回路)を脳から可視化・抽出し、その作動原理を追究することにより、脳の情報処理基盤を探ることを目的とし研究を推進した。5年間の領域活動により、40件を越える領域内共同研究が開始し順調に推進され、領域全体として200報以上の論文を発表するなどの研究成果が得られた。本研究においては、5年間の領域の活動と成果を取りまとめ公表することを目的とした。具体的には、1.全計画研究代表者、公募研究代表者(平成23-24年および平成25-26年)から研究の背景、目的、方法、成果を各自2~4ページでまとめたカラーの図入りの記事、業績リスト、プレスリリース記事の提出を依頼した。2.これに加え、領域主催・共催シンポジウム、技術ワークショップ、スクール、アウトリーチ等の領域活動についての資料を収集した。3.以上の材料をレイアウトし、製本して全330ページの研究成果報告書(冊子体)(様式C-18)とした。4.同冊子を文部科学省に提出するとともに約160名の関連分野研究者に配布した。
