Outline of Research at the Start

本研究領域は、生命システム研究を阻む障壁を打破する新規生物学研究「アプタマー生物学」の創成を目的とする。最新の核酸工学技術を分子生物学分野に融合し、タンパク質の機能を増強するアプタマーによる自在な生命システム制御に基づく生命科学研究を新興する。本研究では脳内恒常性維持機構モデルの開発と介入研究を実装例とし、提案する研究アプローチによって新しい恒常性維持に関わる分子機序を同定するとともに、アプタマー生物学研究の研究基盤を構築する。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

総括班のミッションは、計画研究間での共同研究を円滑に進めることで、本研究領域における最大の挑戦であるアプタマー技術の分子生物学分野への融合を促進することである。本年度は前年度に立ち上げた領域ホームページにて、年間を通して成果・活動を発信した。また8月にオンラインにて領域研究者全員が出席する領域会議を開催した。さらに日本化学会秋季事業 第13回 CSJ化学フェスタ2023にて、「多元応答ゲノム」「アプタマー生物学」「革新ラマン」 合同特別企画「細胞内の生命分子の機能を知り、操り、視る技術を開発する」を主催し、領域代表者とA01研究代表者の2名が発表・議論を行なった。計画班間の共同研究をSlack、Zoomなどのオンラインツールを活用しつつ円滑に推進した。

予定していた共同研究、領域会議、領域ホームページの運営を全て実施した。加えて、主催として公開シンポジウムも実施した。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

引き続き領域会議などの活動を通して、領域研究全体を推進する。また共同研究が円滑に進むようオンラインミーティングやオンラインツールを活用した情報共有を行う。
