| Outline of Research at the Start |
１分子電子源は、１分子から電子が放出される装置である。最近、１分子電子源により、１分子の中に閉じ込められた電子の量子性（分子軌道）が観察できることが明らかになり、さらにはその量子性を用いることで、これまでにない量子デバイスの作製が期待されている。一方で、１分子電子源の学理の構築はまだ完全ではない。本領域では３チームが協力することで、１分子電子源の学理構築を行い、新奇量子デバイス開発のための機能探索を実験・理論の両面から行う。
