Outline of Research at the Start

本研究領域は、膜界面で起きる異種分子群の協奏の理解やその制御を行う膜界面生物学の創成を目指す。多様な生物学的現象（オートファジー、細胞接着、シナプス形成、ウイルス感染など）や解析手法（構造解析、イメージング、数理・計算科学、光・化学制御など）に取り組む研究者が協力し、膜界面現象の共通原理を明らかにすることで新分野の確立を図る。総括班は共同研究の推進、国際交流促進、若手育成支援を通じて研究者間の連携を強化し、新たな疾患治療法開発にもつながる領域創成を目指す。
