本研究領域では、最先端計測技術の開発・異分野融合を通じて、細胞内「局所高温」の熱力学的実体を解明することで「細胞内ナノ熱科学」の骨格を構築し、生殖医療等への応用へ展開することを目指す。総括班では、異なる学問的背景を持つ各研究拠点間で人的・知的交流がスムーズに行われるようにサポートを行い、領域関係者全体の学識を拡大することで専門知を融合した総合力を高める。このための研究方針の作成、領域会議等の企画調整、Webページ等での成果発信、および分野融合型の若手成長支援を実践するとともに、国内外のアドバイザーからの評価・助言を得ながら、「細胞内ナノ熱科学」の国際的プレゼンスを高める。
