| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Based on the scientific understanding of Shitsukan, the aim of this project is to establish "Shitsukan engineering" as a scientific system of Shitsukan management that can be used in several manufacturing fields. A generalized Shitsukan sensing system has been established through evaluation experiments, and a comprehensive engineering system for controlling and managing Shitsukan at the wavelength level has been established by analyzing, modeling, and formulating various types of Shitsukan information in a systematic and multifaceted manner. In addition, we promoted research that integrates not only optics and informatics, but also psychology and life sciences, and has succeeded in quantifying cross-modal effects of Shitsukan perception on other senses using information technology. Moreover, various Shitsukan simulation techniques have also been developed.
