Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Our personalized values determine our everyday behaviors, accumulation of everyday behaviors modulates our own neural networks, and configuration of our neural networks constrains our personalized values. Under the broad concept of the “spiral” among personalized values, everyday behaviors, and the brain, we investigated interrelationships among neuroimaging, psychological, and life record measures. In addition, we performed multi-agent computer simulations. We found that personal properties, such as resilience or cognitive flexibility, would lead to appropriate behaviors and modulate neural networks. In summary, we contributed to the elucidation of neural bases of personalized values, focusing on everyday behaviors in the real world.
