Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Kasai et al. showed that the British concept of personal recovery applies to Japanese, and that freedom from Japanese-specific connections with others and social norms are important for recovery. Nouchi et al. conducted a qualitative analysis of a wide variety of narrative data and showed that subject value and recovery change continuously and are defined by social and interpersonal contexts. Aramaki et al. developed a participant research episode bank and a Japanese emotional expression dictionary for quantitative analysis of subject value. Okamoto created a behavior change program in line with subject values, and showed that value-otiented behaviors increased and depressive symptoms decreased after the intervention. Kasai and Bundo synthesized the brain and molecular basis of the development and recovery process of subjective values from pn-TTC studies and others.
