This research developed an extensive archaeological database that covers the Middle and Upper Paleolithic sites of Asia in the period ca. 200 to ;20 ka, spanning the time when modern humans (Homo sapiens) is known to have made dispersals from Africa into Asia. The database comprises a list of related sites, their geographic co-ordinates, and information about stratigraphy, dates, and finds including fossil and lithic remains. It helped us establish a spatial and chronological framework of to facilitate investigating variability in cultural dynamism around the time of arrivals of modern humans in Asia. This project eventually produced a large original database, PaleoAsiaDB, which registered more than 3000 sites and nearly 8000 cultural assemblages. The analysis of this database yielded a number of research articles to provide with a reliable spatio-temporal framework to meet our research targets.
