Research Abstract |
We have systematically investigated the interaction between spin-Hall efects and magnetization dynamics both experimentally and theoretically, and reported (1) Development of a soin-torque-meter effect, (2) Optimization for spin- current generation from a aspin-pumping effect, and (3) Observation of a photoinduced inverse spn-Hall effect, we observed a "spin-Seebeck effect", generation of a spin voltage as a result of a temperature gradient, in ferromagnetic metals for the first timi in the world.
