Research Abstract |
We have succeeded in purification of various standard materials with geometrical frustration and also discovered many new frustrated materials. We have observed transport properties where unconventional fluctuations like chirality play an essential role. We also have made theoretical predictions of transport phenomena originating from quantum Berry phase. We have also demonstrated the effects of frustrated spin fluctuations on metal-insulator transition, and shown a new criticality in electric transport.
