Research Abstract |
Tritium behaviors in various tritium breeding candidates and permeation barrier coatings for fusion blanket are investigated to clarify tritium release mechanism and release rate through tubing materials contacting with liquid lithium and lithium lead, the change of tritium chemical form in a liquid salt candidate under various REDOX condition, vaporizations from a solid oxide candidate, and tritium transfer in the tritium permeation barrier coatings fabricated in this project.
