| Research Abstract |
The major fruit of this research project is comprehensive analysis and the newest knowledge concerning the specificity of modern Eurasian cultures. Its main issues were: 1) the formation of mutual images among Eurasian superpowers, 2) cultural interaction in the fields of religion and thought, 3) images of Eurasia in cultural representation, 4) roles of memory for cultural identity, 5) adaptation to the new cultural situation. Final results of the research project will be published in “Eurasia and Asia in Modern culture,” vol.6 of the series “Regional Powers” (Tokyo, 2013).
