| Research Abstract |
In this research, syntheses of novel phthalocyanine analogues, which were perturbed by several manners, such as distortion of planar structures of phthalocyanines and expansion of their π-conjugated systems, were investigated. Novel properties arising from control of arrangement of these π-conjugated molecules were also investigated. In addition, under the collaboration in this scientific research on innovative areas, analyses on electronic structures of π-conjugated molecules, which were synthesized by other members, were carried out using magnetic circular dichroism spectroscopy.
