本研究は、イスラーム世界で育まれてきた様々な経済知（これをイスラーム経済知）が、そのモビリティを活用して普遍的戦略知としてポスト資本主義時代の地球社会システムの構築のためにどのような貢献ができるかを探究するものである。そのために、歴史的イスラーム経済実践および現代に再構築されたイスラーム経済実践に着目し、そこで見られる特有の経済制度（貨幣・金融、市場、所有制度）の独自性と普遍性を比較経済史的観点から検討し、そのモビリティの全容解明に取り組む。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study attempts to explain the uniqueness of the Islamic economy using two terms: connectivity and flexibility.The former demonstrates that various Islamic economic institutions possess the characteristic of easily incorporating economic institutions from other regions and eras in a contemporary or trans-temporal manner, both temporally and transregionally. The latter demonstrates that Islamic economic institutions possess the characteristic of refining economic institutions from other regions and eras, which have been incorporated through connectivity, into a coherent system based on Islamic law.Furthermore, the study successfully established the potential for the uniqueness of the Islamic economy, as demonstrated through these findings, to serve as a strategic universal value for the construction of post-capitalist societies.

本研究は、単にイスラーム経済の独自性を学術的に解明しただけでなく、対立と分断が深刻化する現代世界の状況に対して、イスラーム経済の視点からそうした状況を打破するための普遍的戦略知をより実践的に提起することに成功した。研究期間の最終年度に現代の社会問題に関心を持つ地方自治体やNGO、中高生、実業家とのダイアローグが実現したことは本研究の社会的意義の大きさを物語っているといえよう。
