Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、動的エキシトン制御を志向した有機ドナー・アクセプター(D・A)材料の創成と精密な薄膜構造制御により、本領域に貢献する。特に、我々が開発してきた前駆体法を用いることで、置換基の役割を分子の電子構造制御と薄膜中の分子配向や結晶性の制御、構造体への熱的ゆらぎの導入に集中することが可能である。前駆体法により、スピン軌道相互作用の制御に着目した曲面πが導入された新規D・A 材料の創成と、有機薄膜太陽電池のD/A界面とバルクヘテロ接合層の構造・性能制御による、動的エキシトンの学理構築とメカニズムの解明に貢献する。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は、動的エキシトン制御を志向した有機ドナー・アクセプター(D・A)材料の創成と精密な薄膜構造制御により、本領域に貢献することを目的としている。 特に、前駆体法による(1)スピン軌道相互作用(SOC)の制御に着目した曲面πが導入された新規D・A材料の創成;(2)D/A界面(以下、界面を/で示す)とバルクヘテロ接合(BHJ)層の構造・性能制御による動的エキシトンの学理構築への貢献を目的として研究を行う。
(1)環状ドナー・アクセプター化合物の合成に成功し、Eur. J. Org. Chem.にアクセプトされ、Very Important Paperに採択、Top10%論文として評価された。ベンゾポルフィリンやアセンにN, S, Oなどの典型元素を導入した複素環化合物の新規合成と、有機半導体特性の評価を行った。
(2)低分子有機半導体を用いたBHJ太陽電池の電荷分離過程における電圧損失のメカニズムに関して、領域内共同研究により明らかにし,ACS Phys. Chem. Auにアクセプトされた。ベンゾポルフィリンの5,15位に適切な置換基を導入することで、熱安定性が高く塗布可能なp型有機半導体の開発に成功し、4.1 cm2V-1s-1のトランジスタ電荷移動度を実現した。置換アルキル基の鎖長と薄膜構造の相関を明らかにし、ACS Appl.Mater. Interfaceに採択された。

Reason

ポルフィリンージケトピロロピロール(CnDPP-BP)をp型、PCBMをn型に用いたバルクヘテロ(BHJ)型太陽電池は、低分子材料のみを用いているため薄膜構造解析と有機薄膜太陽電池のダイナミクス考察に有利な試料である。計画班小堀教授(神戸大)、公募班太田助教(神戸大)、生駒教授(新潟大)らとの共同研究により、ESRとTHz分光測定により電荷分離過程における電圧損失のメカニズムに関して、領域内共同研究により明らかにし、ACS Phys. Chem. Auにアクセプトされた。一方、5,15位にアルキルシリルエチニル基を導入した熱安定性の高いBPに関しては、領域内共同研究によりその電荷移動メカニズムについて調査を進めており、我々独自の材料の強みを活かした共同研究により、領域に貢献している。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

(1)に関しては、ドナーとアクセプターが交互にリンク状に結合した新規化合物の合成を継続している。 (2)に関しては、ベンゾポルフィリンの5,15位の置換基を工夫することで熱的安定性が高く、4 cm2V-1s-1を超える正孔移動度を示す材料が得られたため、その電荷移動メカニズムを領域内共同研究により検討するとともに、ベンゾポルフィリンの単結晶および結晶性薄膜構造に対する置換基効果をさらに追及する。
