| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we established a new proteogenomics platform for comprehensive and quantitative detection and analysis of unknown translation products. By extending our original iMPAQT method and combining it with DIA, we established a system capable of determining protein abundance on a large scale with high precision. Furthermore, they established N-terminal proteomics technology using multiple enzymes and identified more than 10,000 N-termini, including known and unknown, of which more than 1,900 were derived from novel ORFs. Furthermore, to comprehensively characterize the properties and functions of a large number of proteins, including unknown proteins, we have established a platform to combine multiple proteomic information such as localization, post-translational modifications, complex formation, and turnover.
