Research Abstract |
In this research program, we have analyzed high statistics data accumulated by the Belle B-factory experiment with the electron-positron collider at High Energy Research organization which achieved world highest luminosity. We successfully explored, as our central subjects, searches for new exotic hadrons and systematic understanding of their properties from new view points. During 5 years of the program, 11 new hadrons are discovered. Including some of them, the number of exotic hadrons reached about 20 in total including those discovered in past, which opened the door to understand their essential nature. Also, cooperation with nuclear physicists has been developed and analysis of Belle data in wide hadron physics are performed, which resulted in systematic measurements of productions of baryons and observation of new decay modes of charmed baryons.
