| Outline of Research at the Start |

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
A platform was developed for the synthesis, purification, and functional analysis of sequence- and stereo-defined precision oligomers through controlled radical polymerization. Chromatographic techniques enabled the isolation of structurally uniform oligomers with defined composition, sequence, and topology. Structure-function relationships were elucidated by evaluating target-binding affinity, self-assembly behavior, and optical properties. Site-specific side-chain transformations were established to enhance molecular recognition. Post-polymerization modification methods were refined to introduce chiral and fluorescent functionalities. DNA-conjugation techniques were optimized to construct DNA-encoded polymer libraries, facilitating evolutionary screening. Collaborations with other research teams led to the identification of bioactive polymers effective in disease models. These achievements were disseminated through multiple journal publications and conference presentations.
