Outline of Research at the Start

染色体レベルの高精度の植物ゲノム配列情報を基盤として、複雑な物質生産経路からなる植物二次代謝に関わる生体触媒ならびに物質輸送や発現制御に関わる因子の発掘と解明を進める。ゲノム配列情報からの予測、トランスクリプトーム情報からの予測ならびにこれらとメタボローム情報等の統合解析により生合成遺伝子群の予測と同定を進める。さらには合理的な代謝エンジニアリングに応用展開する。
