Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have researched three sessions including ten units 1) Session on Scientific Theories and Methdology ([a]methodology of science, [b]comparative studies and [c]evidence based policies) ; 2) Session of Fields of Application ([a]developmental disorder,[b]sexual offenders, [c]drug addicts and [d] religious chaplain) and 3) Two Attitude Surveys([a]opinion survey, [b]deliberated poll and [c] literacy seminar on criminology), and then analyzed their outcomes, thereby we conclude as follows: As we can't introduce true scientific methods on the field to treat criminals and delinquents yet. practitioners are ruled by prosecutors and policy makers as lawyers. A numbers of practitioners and policy makers expect, however, the development of a new scientific field of "law and human science" whose methods are trans-displinary and self-reflective around practical issues in the modern society. In my opinion we have to establish a criminology which orientates itself toward law and human science.
