Outline of Research at the Start	胎生の哺乳類の胚発生において、着床前胚は母体の環境や成熟度に応じて細胞周期と細胞分化の停止を伴う発生休止(Embryonic diapause)を起こすことで、出産時期の最適化を行っている。しかしながら、胚がどのような細胞-組織間相互作用を介して、細胞周期と細胞分化を休止するのかは依然として不明な点が多い。そこで本研究では、最新かつ独自の空間的多階層オミクス、イメージング、ゲノム編集、情報解析技術を駆使して、発生休止のメカニズムを明らかにする。
