Outline of Research at the Start	ここ10年ほどの間にゲノム解読の技術的な進歩が著しく、欧米ではネアンデルタールゲノム配列の報告など新しい学問分野“古代ゲノム学”が誕生した。これまでの古代ゲノム学は主に種や集団の系統を論じるツールとして用いられてきた。しかし、その応用範囲はもっと広く、遺跡から出土する人骨の血縁関係や、住居跡の土壌や糞石から、そこに住んでいた人々や動物のゲノム情報から、当時の親族構造や生活環境を復元することも理論上可能だ。本研究では、先史社会の親族構造や生活環境を分析するツールとして、古人骨の形態学的データを基礎とした古代ゲノム解析技術の本格的実装を進める。
