Outline of Research at the Start	国際関係の中で生起する諸現象に関する諸分野における研究の根底には、人間の尊厳をいかに守るかという目的意識がある。この背景には、人間がグローバルな規模で活動を拡大してきた過程において、無数の人々の尊厳が毀損されてきたという事実がある。さらに、人新世を迎えたといわれる現在は、人間以外の多様な種や非生物の尊厳も考察に含めなければならない。本研究は、国際関係論、国際法、政治理論、移民・難民研究などの立場から、これらの諸現象を広く検討し、専門分野の視点を学際的に融合させ、国際社会における尊厳について学際的・分野横断的に考察し、非人間・非生物の尊厳も踏まえ、検証することを目的にしている。
