Outline of Research at the Start

これまでH2やH2O (HO- + H+)を，光エネルギーと触媒によって活性化し効果的に用いる有機合成は極めて狭い範囲に限られてきた。本計画研究では金属錯体触媒（均一系・分子触媒）や金属酸化物半導体触媒（不均一系・固体触媒）に光を付し，クリーンなH2やH2Oを水素源・電子源（1電子還元剤）として用いる未到の還元法や有機合成法の開発に挑戦する。
