Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、血管を構成して被覆する細胞外マトリックス(ECM sleeve)に注目し組織微小環境における役割の解明に挑む。特に、がん組織においてはECM sleeveが腫瘍増殖の起点となることが明らかになりつつある。そこで本研究では、ECM sleeveのダイナミクスが多細胞間相互作用に及ぼす影響を解析し、さらにECM sleeveを操作することでがんの進展への関与を明らかにする。これらの解析から記憶媒体(メモリー)というECMの未知なる役割を明らかにする。
