Outline of Research at the Start

器官形成過程は細胞と細胞外環境が共にダイナミックに変化するプロセスである。しかしながら、現状は細胞外環境については定性的な記述に留まり、器官形成を包括的に理解するためには、動的に変化する細胞内情報の記述に加えて、細胞外環境についてもその動的プロセスを定量的に記述し、モデル化していくことが必要である。本研究では頭蓋形成および原腸貫入過程を主な対象として、より生体に近いオルガノイドを幹細胞から誘導するための、細胞外環境ダイナミクスの理解とその制御技術の開発を目的とする。
