Outline of Research at the Start

ECM 内環境は細胞内に比べて過酷で、構成要素のタンパク質も極めて特殊な立体構造をとる。そのため、蛍光タンパク質等を用いたライブイメージングがほとんど行われておらず、ECMに特化したイメージング技術開発が研究の発展に必須である。本研究では、多様なECM構成タンパク質を可視化する技術基盤を開発し、本学術変革領域内のライブイメージングを促進する。また、ECM内のタンパク質相互作用や、ECM内の力学的特性等を測定するセンサーなどを開発する。さらに、光刺激で弾性率を変化させることのできる人工ECMを開発し、ECMの操作による影響を観察する実験基盤を構築する。
