Outline of Research at the Start	雌の生殖細胞では、ライフスパンの進行に伴い生殖機能の低下が起こることが知られている。卵子はその機能低下が現れる最も初期のステージであるといえる。本課題では、卵子をその構成要素である「核」と「細胞質」に分け、機能低下の原因を明らかにすることを目的としている。さらに明らかになった原因因子を人為的に補完、または誘導をすることによって雌性生殖細胞の機能低下を改善するための操作方法を開発する。本課題で得られた成果は、雌のライフ時間進行に伴う多様な機能障害の原因を分子生物学的に理解し、その人為的な操作法の技術開発を通じて、広く世の中に貢献するものである。
