Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は、「pH・光・水素・酸素等の外部刺激に応答する高エネルギー金属錯体」と「自然から採取・精製した細胞膜」の融合によって得られる外部刺激応答型の人工光合成膜の構築である。具体的には、独自に開発する感応性「高エネルギー金属錯体(ヒドリド種,低原子価種,酸素活性種等)」と、独自に培養に成功した微生物由来の「単離細胞膜」を用いて、外部刺激を利用した水からの電子抽出システムの構築を目指している。即ち、本研究を通して、新学術領域「感応性化学種」のA04班が目的として掲げる人工酵素の構築に挑戦している。さらに領域内共同研究を通した、「感応性化学種-生体反応系」における複合機能の発現・解明にも挑戦している。
平成26年度は、当初の計画通り、新たな材料の開発・探索に重点を置いて研究を進めた。その結果、新規な感応性金属錯体として、(1)過酸化酸素および酸素応答性のマンガン錯体、(2)水素応答性のロジウム錯体、(3)ギ酸応答性のニッケル-ルテニウム複核錯体の合成およびその性質を明らかにすることに成功した。さらに、新規な単離細胞膜となるバイオ材料を探索する中で、阿蘇くじゅう国立公園より採取したサンプルから、(1)新規な好熱性シアノバクテリア(Leptolyngbya sp. O-77)の単離および(2)新規なギ酸脱水素酵素の精製に成功した。上記成果および本研究遂行に伴い派生した成果は、8報の学術論文としてまとめた。
