| Outline of Research at the Start |
本領域では現代社会の顔と身体の多様な歪み（差別、痛み等）を解消するため、【実践】【実証】【設計】の３項目で「顔身体」の概念を文理融合に展開し、未来の顔と身体のデザインを提案する。このうち本計画班では、「社会・文化を原因とする差別や痛み等負の特性を軽減する理想的な顔身体を目指す」未来の顔身体の構築に向けた、芸能・芸術などを通じた【実践】研究を行う。【実践】の観点から、リアルとイマジナリを往還する身体性とその変容に焦点を当てて東南アジアを中心とする各地における文化人類学的な研究を行う。
