| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究では、生命システムを撹乱するRNA（perRNA）の一種として免疫反応を惹起するRNA群を網羅的に同定し、その多様性・制御機構についての包括的な理解を目指す。具体的には、生物の免疫反応の強度と関連するperRNA候補の探索や、複数のオミクス情報を統合した解析によって、perRNAの機能ドメインを明らかにし、それぞれの生物種における免疫応答の違いや、perRNAごとの免疫惹起能の差の背景にある分子メカニズムを追求する。さらに、本領域で得られたperRNAの情報を統合し、「撹乱RNAデータベース」にとして構築することで、撹乱RNA学の創生・発信を支える情報基盤を整備する。
