Research Abstract

The purpose of the investigation in the year of 1989 was to know the present situation of the computerized text database of Middle Eastern languages(Arabic,Persian,Turkish)in the field of human studies in the Middle East(Turkey,Iran,Syria,Israel,Egypt). Generally speaking, Turkey and Israel have the upper hand;Egypt comes after them and Iran and Syria are retarded.
In General they expect the use of text database of the Middle Eastern Languages for their work, so they wait the Japanese databases of Arabic, Persian and Turkish texts, in which we are now engaged, to be accomplished and provided them soon.
