Research Abstract |
(1) various types of statistical multiarray data were gathered and the objectives of analyses for those data were comparatively studied. (2) The methods and algorithms were organized and the broad and proper requirments for computer software to analyse multiarray data. (3) Exploratory data analysis of stratified multiarray data and paired comparison data was recognized to be important, prior to multi-mode principal component analysis. (4) Decomposition of stratified multivariate data to the components of "between strata" and "within strata" is fundamental. (5) Hierarchical principal component analysis was extensively studied by Prof. Murakami. (6) A personal computer software for singular value decomposiotin proposed by Yoshizawa was developed in cooperation with prof. Shimura. This type of decomposition is a basic tool for analysis of multiarray data.
