Research Abstract |
In the present research, we have performed both experimental and theoretical studies on the titled Project. In the experimental approach, various organic magnetic materials have been prepared by the pyrolytic method, the thermal CVD method, and the organic synthetic method. The magnetization and the ESR measurements of these have revealed that they have correlated alignment of electron spins, possibly forming a partial ferromagnetic order. In the theoretical approach, we have developed the unrestricted Hartree-Fock crystal orbital method, and have applied this to the design of organic ferromagnetic polymers.
