| Research Abstract |
DNA rearrangements often affect the expression of genes. Site-specific Min DNA inversion found on the plasmid p15B is a good example, which we have characterized. It consists of site-specific recombinase gene min, six crossover sites and an active recombination enhancer. Orientation of the invertible DNA segments determines the expression of sets of particular genes.
