| Research Abstract |
The purpose of this project are as follows :
1. Definition of HBS Conformance Test Method which correspond to the Layer 1-3 of OSI-Model of LAN.
2. Development of Evaluation-IFU for HBS Conformance Test.
3. Development of Conformance Test System and Program which correspond to the low Layer 1-2 of MAP (Manufacturing Automation Protocol) of FA.
4. Development of another absolutely different Conformance Test System which correspond to Layer-3 of MAP.
Upon these purpose, we accomplished the number 1, 2, 3 in 1989, and also almost of number 4 in 1990.
We have made clear the evaluation items necessary for HBS-CT and established a CT method. A system experiment was conducted to verify the usefulness of this CT method and improvements were made in specifications.
A method to execute the CT for Layer-3, by which a Test-Suite is specified for each Test-Case, and a Test-Scenario is automatically generated based on Test-Data and Test-Suite, is proposed, and the results of simulation experiments conducted by constructing a test system verified its effectiveness.
