Research Abstract |
Contents of amino acids and their conversions in the guinea pig's perilymph were measured by using High Performance Liquid Chromatography. The perilymph was collected into the micro-grass pipette via the round window. The samples were pretreated and were derivertized with PITC, and were analyzed to clarify the kinds and the concentrations. All kinds of amino acids, Tau, GLN, ASN and ORN were detected in the normal perilymph and had unique contents such as lower Asp and Glu, higher Gly, Ala and Lys. The rate of Taurine was 2.79% and the content in the perilymph was about 28mu mol/1, while it was increased with the concentration of the serum (130mu mol/1). In test groups, several amino acids were increased those values, Asp, Glu, His etc, with enforced Anoxic Anoxia, ligation of artery basilaris and some drugs which were taken damages in the inner ear. With ligation of Anterior Inferior Cerebellar Artery by a ventral surgical approach, after one and three hours, Asp and Glu were increased in the treated side than the normal one respectively.
