Research Abstract |
The combined extrusion equipment was improved by personal computer controlled method from manual controls. By the reconstruction of oil pressure circuit, a constant pressure or a constant velocity can be controlled easily during forming. Both ram of upper ram and lower one of the equipment can be moved independently. The equipment can be applied to not only the superplastic alloys but also the non-superplastic materials such as an aluminum matrix fiber reinforced composite. The fabrication of complicated shape composite materials can be established by combined extrusion, and therefore the application range is spread widely. After this time, the functional properties of various composites such as strength, lightening, damping capacity, sound, thermal, electrical properties and etc. are clarified.
