Research Abstract

音声言語障害や音声言語コミュニケーションの不器用さに対する治療および教育支援をすすめるためには,発語に至る準備過程や背景となる意識水準等の機能状態を解明することが必要とされる.本研究では,ヒトの言語音声生成及び受容のメカニズムに焦点をあて,発声時の中枢処理機構について非侵襲的に追求した.
音声の生成に関しては,ヒトが発声する際の喉頭調節が中枢の準備過程へ及ぼす影響について,脳磁図(magnetoence phalography : MEG)を用いて検討した.その結果,発声開始に至る特定の時間帯で,前頭葉後部および島の領域に,発声の運動企画や声区の変換様式の相違を反映する特異な活動が得られた.この成果の一部は,第33回日本臨床神経生理学会学術大会にて報告され,Brain Research Cognitive Brain Researchに掲載された.
音声の受容に関しては,ヒトの音声聴取に特異的な脳活動や,日本語のみを母国語とするヒト(モノリンガル)における/l/と/r/の音弁別に関わる脳活動についてMEGを用いて検討した.この成果の一部は,第18回日本生体磁気学会大会,第21回日本生理心理学会大会にて報告され,NeuroscienceLetters, Neuroimageに掲載された.
また,言語発達期にある子どもの発話に関わる中枢処理過程や発話能力の習得過程を検討するため,ノイズ条件下における彼らの発声音を記録した.現在,音響特性を分析中である.
