Research Abstract

本研究は重点領域研究(1)高温超伝導材料を基盤とする新エレクトロニクス(新超伝導工学)の全体としての研究計画、研究者間の調整その他広報、他領域との連絡などの業務を通じて本領域の研究進展を円滑ならしめることを目的とする。
メンバ-は上記の他本領域の計画研究から山下努(長岡技科大)、小林猛(阪大)および森末道忠(埼玉大)の3名、評価メンバ-から坂東尚周(京大)、梶村皓二(電総研)、宮沢信太郎(NTT)および大塚泰一郎(日本真空)の4名である。その他に各研究班(第1〜第4)の評価メンバ-計13名が所属している。
本年度は総括班会議と研究会が主な活動である。定例として総括班会議は研究会と日を合わせて、研究会が2日にわたる場合は、その初日に開催して、研究の進展に対する評価、今後の日程に対する調整・決定などを行う。研究会は平成2年は6月18日(大阪)、8月24・25日(長岡)および平成3年1月17・18日(東京)で開催した。総括班会議はその他に平成3年2月23日に開催された。総括班会議では前記の他、他領域の研究と本領域の位置づけが、重要な関心事である。
個々の研究内容としては各代表者の報告に譲るが、高温超伝導材料を用いてのデバイスの研究が表面的には華々しくないことは、常に我々の関心事である。現在、超薄膜・layer by layer成長・各種のin situ成膜技術(多層構造を含む)など様々な試みが内部的には精力的に行われている。そして一部はきれいなジョセフソン特性の観測、IーV特性の準粒子構造など意味のありそうな結果が得られている。しかし、これらが全幅の信頼を得るに至っていないのは正に新材料を十分に制御するにはなお時日をようすることと理解している。
