Research Abstract |
1 In our research of 1989-90 (the first year), we obtained the following results. Comparing 'igyosyu group' companies with no 'igyosyu group' ones, we found that the former group (A group), 175 companies, were more positive than the latter ones (B group), 105 companies. We analyzed the following factors ; for instance, eagerness of company concerning technical development and market extension, attainment of companies goals, relationship to other companies, contribution to market needs of local industries. Comparing a A group with found B group in respects to these factors, we found that A group has a higher production efficiency than B group. Because, A group has a good horizontal inter-industrial networking system (lgyosyu networking system), but B group still holds vertical industrial networking system (subcontractive networking system). Most of these companies we sampled here, are consisted of manufacturing companies. These results suggest that to develop new market or technologies, it i

s necessary to create relationship within the 3rd Industies. 2 The second study (1991-92), compares igyosyu groups. One is in Osaka Pref. (C group), comprising 120 companies, and the other one is in Nara Pref's (D group), with 104 companies of which 175 companies were sampled last year. We compared these two groups, using a questionnaire which was distributed to for each companies and secretariat office of each groups. The results were follows. C group was more advanced than D group in terms stage of goal attainment or joint operative relationship. The difference is due to the function of subcommittee or state of improvement of each 'lgyosyu' group' s organization. In terms of 'human relationship' which is very important factor in the corelationship between companies, C group has more functionable or rational relationship, but D group still has a traditional or gemeinschaft relationship. In terms of participation in trade, were difference was found between the two groups, especially in the field of technical development or market extension. 3 These results suggest that the difference in 'Industrial Culture' between in two places is an important factor in promoting or activating corelationship. 4 (Appended Papers) [A Research Report "A Based and Applied Study on Networking of 'Igyosyu Koryu' (Inter-industrial Networking)"] Less
