Research Abstract |
We can point out three periods to study "the system" in Pedagogie Freinet. (1) around 1932 ; when Freinet and his comrades made the first "Bibliotheque de Travail" and the classification called "Pour tous classer" referring to that of P. Otlet. (2) 1950-1954 ; when the intellectuals of French Communist Party criticized Pedagogie Freinet concerning the role of teacher. (3) 1965-1968 ; when Freinet and his comrades expanded "Bibliotheque de Travail" into three levels (BTj, BT, BT2). We bring to a focus the second period, so that read a paper "Un Debat sur la Pedagogie Freinet (1950-52)". The precede studies on Pedagogie Freinet have done depending on materials of the critics. We examine the original materials on the controversy and come to the conclusion as follows : (a) The critics appraised the concept 'complex of interest'. (b) Freinet and his comrades saw the necessity of refining on the concepts' complex of interest' and 'educational technique' through this controversy.
