Research Abstract |
The A^3II_i - X^3SIGMA^- band of the CCO radical has been investigated by means of near-infrared high-resolution diode laser spectroscopy in the region of 11600 - 12400 cm^<-1> with Doppler-limited resolution. The A^3II_i(000) - X^3SIGMA^-(000)band spectrum has been analyzed to obtain detailed molecular constants for the A^3II_i(OOO)state including LAMBDA -type doubling constants. Numerous perturbations have been found in the OMEGA = 0 and 1 levels of the A^3II_i(000)state in the present study. The A^3II_i(O1O) - X^3SIGMA^-(000)and A^3II_i(010) - X^3SIGMA^-(000) band spectra have been also analyzed to abtain molecular constants for the A^3II_i(010) including Renner parameters and those for the X^3SIGMA^-(010) state incl uding a 1-type doubling constant.
